Ancestory.com, World Vital Records and many others

There are many web sites that help in researching our genealogy. I "Googled" L Movell Day the following is what I came up with. This gives me several clues; one, that he was living in Hayward in 1946, and  second, that he was a carpenter. More and more books, newspapers, documents, census records etc are being digitized and are searchable, making it much easier in researching.
